Power Protein to start your day

Choosing a filling protein for breakfast will help fight off late morning cravings.

Eggs are a good choice as part of a healthy, balanced diet. As well as being a source of protein, they also contain vitamins and minerals. They can be part of a healthy meal that’s quick and easy to make.

Ingredients for 1 oriental vegetable omelette
1 medium egg
1 medium egg white
2 tsp olive oil
2 handful stir-fry fresh vegetables mix


1.Beat the egg with the egg white and season with salt and pepper, if you want to.
2.Heat half of the olive oil in a small non-stick frying pan. Toss the stir-fry vegetable mix and cook until tender then set aside onto a plate.
3.Meanwhile in the same pan “just give it a wipe”
Heat the remaining olive oil on a medium- high heat and pour in the beaten egg and allow to cook until lightly set. Fold in half, then slide onto your plate
